TCS Going Virtual

 When the covid pandemic hit, we all took a deep breath. Everything locked down…including TCS in-the-flesh (and two pretty spectacular concerts – Mozart’s Requiem and Beethoven’s Ninth with the Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra). But that didn’t stop us… 

Zoom became our rehearsal space, and we had tremendous fun producing three TCS virtual recordings, and a trail-blazing one that kicked everything off: Blackbird (TCS 2nd Sopranos in the first ‘unofficial’ virtual video by The Beatles); Sim Shalom (Hebrew song of peace composed by Max Janowski); Stoned Soul Picnic (composed by Laura Nyro and made famous by The Fifth Dimension 1968 pop song); and Palimpsesto (composed by Patricio Manns; music by Inti Illimani for this 1981 Latin American folk song).
