Christmas Oratorio at Koerner Hall

Molto Grazie e Buon Natale!

Thank you to our guests and sponsors for supporting a wonderful night of Italian choral music. The concert was sold out and we had a great turnout despite the weather. We hope that the Mediterranean music inspired a little warmth.

Please feel free to share any media captured during the night on Instagram: @TorontoChoralSociety or on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TorontoChoralSociety/

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you again for our SPO and spring concerts!

Toronto Choral Society Takes On Iceland!

In 2016, the Toronto Choral Society embarked on its first international tour. A group of 80 people (54 choir members plus friends and family) spent a week touring and performing in Iceland. Highlights of the trip included a concert at the incredible Skaholt church, alongside the church choir and Selfoss Men’s Choir, as well as performing for the Canadian ambassador, mayor of Reykjavik, and president of Iceland in Reykjavik’s city hall. Choir members also enjoyed wonderful Icelandic hospitality, experienced epic waterfalls, volcanoes, black sand beaches, swimming in the Blue Lagoon, and some of Iceland's notoriously awful weather.

A heartfelt thank-you to all of the choir members who participated and whose good humour and high spirits helped make the trip such a success.
